Sarah, 29, loved netball.
Like thousands of Australian women, she played every week, trained twice a week, and looked forward to game day more than anything.
Then one awkward landing changed everything.
It happened during a regular Saturday match. Sarah jumped for a pass, landed slightly off balance, and felt her ankle roll underneath her.
“It hurt, but I thought I’d walk it off.”
She finished the game, iced it that night, and expected to be back on court the following week.
She wasn’t.
